IELTS...Academic or UKVI?

Go for UKVi IELTS and score for at least 7.0 in each of the four areas tested (speaking, listening, reading and writing) And an overall score of at least 7.5 (From 18 June 2014) this is What you should do, but you may ask why UKVI Ielts (UK Visa and Immigration) and not the other one? the answer is simple. If you just give simple IElTS and even get the desired score, u still whould have to give UKVI Ielts Academic when u wil apply for Tier 2 visa. When u are giving the ukvi ielts for tier 2 visa, the score they ask is very less , it is IELTS for UKVI - 4.0 overall, and in each of the four skills, as they know that u must have given academic ielts and got desired score and only after that u had given plab exams, got gmc registered and got a job! I was unaware of this and there was no on to explain thist o me and lots of confusion in the public forums. So, I had to give the same ielts exam twice, which was costly, time consuming and a very tiring mistake. (The Tier 2 visa is an entry route for citizens of countries outside of the European Economic Area. In all cases, if you are applying for entry under this visa scheme you MUST be in possession of a job offer and a Certificate of Sponsorship from a UK employer with a valid Tier 2 sponsorship licence.)
